a friend of mine from 10+ years ago shoot me an IM last night then we started chatting. I was surprised that he still knows me... really well, kinda like someone knows your DNA despite changes that happened throughout time. not only can't I lie but I can't hide! someone who knows your different ahs.. hms... who sees your facial expression without really seeing it. someone who's easy to talk to.

 

at the same time, I was talking to a new friend. It was such a huge contrast. This one requires excessive explanation to communicate well. then all in a sudden i felt kinda sad...

 

I guess when you're tired, you don't just need a good friend... you really need an old friend.
