Our team has finally kicked in the full gear after the memorial day holidays. So much to do, so little time!
Aside from our monthly mandatory meeting, we are now meeting weekly to make sure we got our Spanish songs and skits down before we depart! I'm so proud of our students willing to do the hard work, go the extra mile to be good stewards of what's entrusted to us.
Praises:
- Jonathan Blaylock, our Spanish guru, officially joined the leadership team! We're definitely blessed to have a Spanish speaker on the team!
- Andrew Washington joined our team at our last retreat, his testimony already encouraged many.
- We had lots of fun at our retreat getting to know each other despite not able to practice much last month due to students' busy schedule.
- Students getting up early to speak at different ABFs has paid off, we are a lot closer to our financial goals. Huge thanks to our generous congregation. We were worried some students may not be able to go but, it turns into a good opportunity to teach them about fundraising, being a good steward, and to trust God to provide.
Prayer requests:
- Preparing our hearts and the hearts of people we'll encounter.
- All the logistics are processed and done smoothly.
- Shopping for all materials we need to bring over
- To find time that works for everyone to meet and practice
- Strength and health
- Unity & Bonding as we practice
- The remaining fund for the team will come in sooner rather than later.
